Hear from our sponsors Michael Osborne and Roman Tyzhnenko from Nix:
1. How is your company building/ applying/ advising on blockchain?
For more than 20 years, we’ve provided added value through genuine involvement via business context, technical innovations, and process improvements. As a technological partner, NIX’s mission is to help our clients choose a proper solution to achieve their business goals. If we realize during project analysis that blockchain is the particular technology that solves the primary clients’ pain point, we explain and highlight the value of applying prior to integration. Blockchain isn’t for every client so we won’t leverage its capabilities if it doesn’t add value to the business.
2. What were the biggest challenges, &/or benefits, in using blockchain technology?
The biggest challenge is to predict the future. We understand that blockchain should be used as a vehicle to arrive at a destination on a clients technology roadmap. That’s why we offer a consultative approach to help determine the proper technologies to leverage in order to remain agile and limit expenses.
The main benefits of implementing the solutions based on blockchain technology are:
greater transparency and accountability, increased efficiency, better security, improved traceability, reduced cost and time on the transferring and validating data between different systems, reducing human errors.
3. What is your company’s roadmap for the rest of 2020 and what should we expect to see from your team in the next 12 months?
NIX will keep doing what we’ve always done well — remaining true to our core values of understanding, building, and deploying knowledgeable resources to help businesses thrive via software development.
Our team continues to gain expertise in various blockchain technologies and business domains. The next year we devote ourselves to hard-work on our clients’ blockchain projects, and we believe many of them will consider us as a part of the team.
4. How are you seeing the rate of adoption of blockchain in the last
couple of months?
I suppose the following numbers talk meaningfully:
More than 50% of global organizations view blockchain as a strategic priority.
86% of senior executives believe that blockchain technology will be adopted mainstream.
77% of executives agree they will lose their competitive advantage if they don’t adopt blockchain.
30% of executives believe that regulatory issues pose a barrier to blockchain adoption. 32% of companies are in the development stage of their blockchain
5. Who is your hero/mentor in this space: what lessons have you learned from them and how have you applied them in your career?
The best mentor is an experience, and the hero of mine is Nike with their slogan, “Just do it!”. Work hard, and you get success — a unique rule for any aspect of our lives.
Companies that drive the innovative technology world are incredibly inspiring as well. Especially encouraging for me is the opportunity to work together and bring innovation to the industry.
Our world series conferences are constantly evolving to meet the demands of our current global situation and the blockchain ecosystem.
