Could you define what your job role details and your day to day routine?

I am Co-Lead and Head of Business Development for Deloitte’s EMEA Blockchain Lab based in Dublin. A typical day is calls with clients and member firms across EMEA to discuss proposed or on-going projects, working with the team to progress our ideas for the products we are developing and meeting and working with my clients to progress their requirements and doing some of the day to day administration we have.

How is your organisation applying blockchain?

We are developing products within our Lab which we plan to bring to market with our launch clients and customers.

What were the biggest challenges in using this technology?

Standards, governance and change management. For me the technology is just an enabler of the broader innovation happening within industry value chains.

What can we expect from your team in the next 12 months?

More production deployments across EMEA.

What can we expect from blockchain in the next 12 months?

More live implementations, increased connectivity between traditional technology and the Blockchain and the laggard industries playing catch up with new consortia.

What are you most looking forward to at the show?

Meeting people and hearing new ideas.
