Blockchain Amsterdam Conference; Blockchain Expo Europe – The Highlights

Thank you for attending the Blockchain Expo Amsterdam 2018! The conference took place in RAI Amsterdam 27-28 June, with over 8,600 delegates joining together for the co-located Blockchain, IoT Tech and AI Expo.
With blockchain being the most cutting-edge technology, it was important to have 10 tracks covering all aspects of blockchain, an industry leading speaker line-up and an extensive exhibition hall of 250+ participating companies.
A huge thank you to all expert speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, press and attendees who joined us for the exciting two days and we hope you benefited from the conference. Another big thank you to all who attended the Blockchain Awards, The Blocks and a massive congratulations to all of the winners.
As a recap, Day one kick started with the popular Blockchain for Enterprise track, featuring talks and panels from the likes of IBM, WWF, Hugo Boss, The Bitfury Group, Dietsmann and more. All delving into the challenges and opportunities that blockchain present within enterprise sectors.
The first day also saw the Cryptofinance and ICO Strategies track exploring the future of investing and launching token sales in the crypto space. There were also three free stages discovering the latest innovations in the Blockchain for Business track; how blockchain can transform business strategies and a track which showcased the latest applications of blockchain technology, directly from developers.
Day 2 saw the expo equally as full with 5 blockchain stages to visit. The most common track, Transforming Financial Services, explored the infinite opportunities of blockchain technologies in the financial sector, including speakers from ABN AMRO Bank, Rabobank, Deloitte, BBVA, Santander, RBS, Coindesk and more.
Alongside Transforming Financial services was the second day of Blockchain for Enterprise for more case studies within a variety of enterprise sectors. The free stages showcased ICO & Token Investment which explored cutting edge Blockchain companies and their ICO propositions. As well as discovering the future of Blockchain in the Blockchain for Technologies track and day 2 of Blockchain strategies.
