A blockchain competition aimed at fostering innovation in the insurance industry has been launched by Lakeside Partners.

The prize for the winners is a mighty $100,000, as well as a host of other benefits.

Also, included in the winner’s prize:

• a year’s free office space in the Lakeside Business Centre in Zug, Switzerland
• 12 months of comprehensive coaching from a team of experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts and C-level executives
• a presentation slot at Insurance.com 2018

The second and third prizes also gain a year’s free office space in Zug.

The Insurance.com event is billed as the ‘industry’s leading business-to-business innovation platform’ where the winners will ‘rub shoulders with the best of top management’.

The competition website states that:
